The first album was Happy Birthday, the first hit was Asal. More than a decade and a half ago Davood Behboodi wooed young Iranian females from around the globe, indulging in their "honey colored eyes". Several albums and many female-named titles later, he is still going strong.  "When I brought out Asal, all the brides-to-be wanted that song at their wedding, and they wanted me there to sing it," Behboodi said. "There was Tannaz, Mahtab Khanom…. And now there's Naz Gol." Whenever there's a wedding and a bride has the same name as one of my song titles, they want me." Behboodi is more than an expert on monikers. His latest release features his voice and his guitar prowess on the electric, twelve strings and six strings guitar. Behboodi plays an instrument on every track. It has been over thirty years Davood Behboodi has enchanted us with his vocals and music. As he continues to entertain the Iranian community, we see him as a respectable person and trustworthy friend.
